How We Make Money

Transparency sits at the foundation of a trustworthy review. This page sets out precisely how imperialgulfhome.space is funded, what happens to a reservation request after you send it, and where our financial interest lies.

The short version: imperialgulfhome.space is free to read. We do not sell rooms and we never take payment. We are paid a referral fee by a third-party reservation partner when you send a reservation request through this site and that partner contacts you. Because of that, we have a commercial interest in you completing the form — so we set out below what the partner does, and why you should still compare the property's own rate before you commit.

How we are funded

We do not bill readers and we do not run banner advertising. Our revenue comes from referral fees for reservation requests. When you submit the reservation form, we transfer your contact details to an independent third-party reservation-services company ("the reservation partner"). The partner's reservations team then contacts you directly, by telephone and/or email, to discuss dates, availability and price, and to arrange a booking if you choose to proceed.

We are compensated by the reservation partner on one or both of the following bases:

• a fixed fee for each qualified reservation request we transfer; and/or
• a share of the value of a booking that results from that request.

This means we may be paid even if you do not go on to book anything — the transfer of a valid request can itself be the billable event.

What this means for you — including the limits

• We never take payment. No card details, deposits or payments are collected on this site, at any stage. Any payment is arranged between you and whoever ultimately confirms your booking. If any page asks for card details in our name, do not enter them and please report it to [email protected].
• We do not set, see or control the price you are offered. Rates, fees, cancellation terms and any service charge are set by the reservation partner or the property. We are not able to promise that the rate you are quoted matches the property's own direct rate.
• Compare before you commit. Because we are paid for the referral, we tell you plainly: check the rate against the property's own published rates before you accept a quote.
• Your request is not a booking. Sending the form creates no reservation and no contract with us. See our Terms of Use.
• You will be contacted. Submitting the form means the reservation partner may call, text or email you about your request. You can withdraw that consent at any time — see Privacy Policy and Your Privacy Choices.
• We do not display prices, because we do not sell accommodation and any figure we published would be out of date immediately.

We are not affiliated with the properties we review

Being paid a referral fee does not make us a property's partner, agent or representative. imperialgulfhome.space is an independent editorial publication. We are not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by the hotels, resorts, casinos or booking platforms we write about, and this is not the official website of any property. Property and brand names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification and editorial purposes.

What our funding does not buy

A commercial relationship never determines:

• whether a property appears on this site, or where it ranks;
• the rating or star class we publish;
• what our writers are free to praise or criticise;
• whether criticism is removed at a property's request.

No property on this site pays us for placement, and no property has the ability to buy, edit or veto a review. How each review is actually produced — what our writers see first-hand, and what is drawn from published guest feedback — is set out in our Content Guidelines.

How the reservation route is labelled

Every route into the reservation form — the "Reserve a room" buttons on review pages and the reservation page itself — is a referral we are paid for. These are not price-comparison links and they do not take you to the property's own booking engine.

Regulatory note

We publish this disclosure to meet the standards that require clear disclosure of a material commercial connection and prohibit misleading representations, including Canada's Competition Act and the Competition Bureau's guidance on influencer and referral disclosure, Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL) for the messages you may receive, applicable provincial consumer-protection legislation, and — where readers reach us from those regions — the U.S. FTC endorsement guidelines and comparable EU and UK rules.
